That feeling\u2014something between dread and uncertainty\u2014grew larger over time. But as it expanded, small gaps started to appear. In those spaces, I found flickers of excitement and wonder of what comes next for me. This film lives in those gaps. It exists to offer hope to others standing at a similar crossroads. I chose to portray Jasmine as a graduate of a photography<br>master&#8217;s program because photography is both an accessible<br>artform and one that translates beautifully to film. Drawing<br>inspiration from film photography,I wanted the colour palette to<br>reflect Jasmine\u2019s emotional state\u2014at its most vibrant and warm<br>when she\u2019s immersed in her creative work, reminiscent of Kodak<br>Gold 200 or Ultramax 400. At its best, the film should feel<br>comforting and familiar; at its lowest, isolating and cold.<br>Ultimately,I want audiences to understand that although the<br>younger generation is often dismissed as entitled or overly reliant<br>on instant gratification, we are not weak.
